I'm curious as to why Niacin is so pushed as a cure for older Ducks. It's a vitamin deficiency and more than just niacin..

This is from a vet giving this vitamin booster. @Tinyhouseducklady how long has this been going on? I still give Nutritional yeast to my flock as others on here do . Why not give it a try B complex liquid or the other forms of niacin since it can’t hurt them and might help. No prescription needed.

The Bcomplex and it looks like what her vet gave her has them all which is what is best when already having issues

That’s why I like to recommend nutritional yeast or B complex liquid they are the best!

The vet gave me smz (she wrote down what the full name is but it’s a pretty common antibiotic for all farm animals apparently - she’s a farm vet)
