What is the vet giving the antibiotics for? Does she think the gland is infected?

Can you buy “fish, flax, and borage oil” at Walmart? It will greatly increase the amount of oil his gland can make. It will also decrease inflammation if that happens to be the reason why he’s not walking.

I would also get the liquid b complex just in case he needs more of the vitamins that waterfowl require than chickens. The vitamins in the complex are what help the duck make muscle and stronger bones. I see this with Pekins (especially) every week here on BYC. Poor fella.

Depending on how long this has been going on depends on how fast you'll see improvement. Some see improvements in less than a week but it can take longer too.

I sure hope he does recover.
