Pekin Duck Pipped at day 25

Ok I found a source close by for Pekin duck eggs so I went and picked them up this morning let them rest all day, candled, weighed and marked them. I have them warming up in the still air bator and will move them to forced air in morning! This time I will keep them on their sides. Goosie is still alive in egg! hoping it makes it.
If you guys will hold my hand

maybe this hatch will be higher than 33%
Two questions, one has the air cell clear down on the side should I toss it? and do you mist and cool duck eggs like the geese eggs? if so what day do you start that?

Thank yall so much for replying. I have had them on the sides the whole time incubating, so thats done & my humidity is on
75. Guess i will just leave my fan going. I can turn it off easily if needs to be. Just thought i had read somewhere that you turn
it off during lockdown. Maybe i misunderstood. Just waiting time now .......................... Thanks again

What day is the one with the weird air cell on? I usually keep them even if they're less likely to hatch.

Some people mist and cool their duck eggs, some don't. The first batch that I misted often turned out to be a really lousy hatch, though I suspect that other issues were a contributing factor (first time hatching shipped eggs). I mist mine only when I have to open the incubator for other things, like adding water or candling.

I try to pop in at least once a day, but things are crazy with work (I work on a farm and its planting season) and ducklings galore. I'm sure QJ and others will be around if you need help. And don't forget, the hatchmaniacs over in the Hatch Day thread are full of good advice!
