My little pekin duckling, Cracker (my 2 year old named her), seems to have an injury to her eye. It doesn't appear to be crusty or oozing, which makes me think injury rather than an illness. Any suggestions on the best way to treat it?

This is her. She has stolen my heart and I hate to see her hurt.

I will try to grab a picture of the injured eye when i find my camera. She is 6 days old now if that makes a difference. She is in a brooder with 2 other ducks and 4 chicks.

It's possible that there could be debris in her eye and she scratched it somehow. Boil 1 cup of water with 1 level teaspoon of salt, let it cool.
Liberally flush the eye with the mixture and once the debris is removed, put a little neosporin ointment in the eye.

Thank you so much. I did something similar last night. I had some saline solution around and I cleaned her eye really well with that and did apply some antibiotic ointment. THis morning her eye seems perfectly fine. I'm so happy.
