Pekin duckling growing black feathers

Awe how cute! I want runners so badly. Someone let some go in the park near me last summer and I really wanted to take them but had no room at the time. :/

Heres an update on bill, somehow, he keeps changing colors! Hes molting and growing in fawn colored feathers now...

Thats on his side, where the feathers used to be white.

Wow, he sure is pretty, and fascinating too! lol I love the face he's making in that bottom pic.
He must be a mix of Pekin and a more colored breed, like Rouen or Appleyard or something. The mixed ones I've seen are often splotchy like that.

Kinda reminds me of a Welsh Harlequin.

He does look like a washed out Appleyard or Welsh Harlequin. I would guess Appleyard because of how chunky he is, but of course that could be if he is mix. Handsome guy whatever he is!
