Hi everyone!
I have 3 pekin ducks and 1 mallard from TSC. 1 of my pekins has crossed feet and the hips poke out. Has a hard tie walking around.... wondering if an one has had a duck like this before. I have read on here about niacin deficiency so we got some and also got some bobs red mill yeast. He doesn't seem to be getting any better but hoping with time he will adapt and maybe get better. I'm just wondering if anyone has had this happen and hoe that duck is now as an adult. Thank you for your time !!

You need to get him on niacin and B-complex ASAP. You can get it at Tractor Supply. He needs it especially because he's a pekin and his weight will be hard on his little leg bones. You could also get some nutritional yeast and add it to his diet. View attachment 1757286
@Miss Lydia How much of this would you use for an older duckling?

I think most people do it over meal worms (or another treat) one duck at a time.
my ducks won't do that which is why I either give it to one or all. If I do all I do it over mealworms or I give it by syringe to the one who needs it the most. I guess it depends on how many ducks you have.

We got niacin flush free 500mg we have a waterer 5qt we put 1\4 of tablet in tbere... which is what I read to do. We Also got bobs red mill yeast which we were told was good as well. tractor supply has the complex ??? I just heard today that works well.

Stop the yeast. It isn’t going to do anything. Unless you’re making bread. :D
