My 1 year old Peking had a really bad limp one day. Wouldn't put any weight on it. We brought her in. On Saturday she wouldn't eat or drink. Sunday morning she was back to eating and drinking and acting pretty normal. The limp is getting better. Today I noticed this spot under her wing. Any ideas or suggestions?

Can you examine the bottom of her feet for any cuts or infection? For my Pekins I soak their leg in Epsom salt water for 15-20 min every few days until it gets better, Make sure she doesn't drink the water, I also give them a little bit of baby aspirin if the leg is inflamed or sore, How does the leg feel? Hot or Cold? Pekins are prone to leg problems due to their heavyweight. Keeping there run/coop free of things they might trip on may help.

I notice her wings are in bad shape, Is she bathing herself regularly? If not you need to make sure she is, wings usually get the dirtiest first followed by the rest of the body, to me she looks like she is on the verge on wet feather, I would make sure she bathes plenty for the next few weeks before the wet feather worsens. Do you have any poop pictures?

We checked out her foot when it first happened and it was warmer than the other foot. No sign of swelling, cuts, or injury. She does go in the pond every day. Sometimes she just floats around, today she's really bathing. Splashing, preening, and cleaning herself. I'll try to geta poop picture.
