Hey guys my pekin/magpie crosses are about two months old now and are almost fully feathered. I think they came out beautiful. The bottom most picture shows the father (magpie, top right) and mother (pekin, specifically, the hen on the bottom left). Magpies are pretty rare here in the US, and since i only had a male, I decided to breed him with a female pekin. They definitely have the body shape of the pekin, but the coloration of the magpie. Thoughts?

Very attractive ducks!

I also have a magpie male and Pekin female duck cross. I know this thread is from 2013, but I didn't know if somebody wants to see my duckling? Her name is Bumble cause she looks like a little bumble bee, and she's always bumbling around. She was born yesterday, with some help from me. She was born 4 days early,on day 24, rather than day 28, so I had to assist her a little. Anyway, here's my little Pekipie, Bumble! :)

Adorable!!!!

Oh man just as cute! How fun! I hope to try incubating some day!

Thank you! You really should! It's been one of the most fun and rewarding things I've ever experienced in my life. If you're interested in incubating, but want to start small, I would recommend the Brinsea Mini II Eco Incubator. They're small, affordable, but they get the job done! Thanks for replying
