Pekin / Welsh Harlequin cross

I have 5 Pekin / Welsh Harlequin crossed babies (currently 4 weeks old). Here's my thread with pics:

I'll post more as they get older. :) They're going to be beautiful black and white patched when they get older (one is mostly black).

(Sorry, I know this is an old thread, but just thought I'd share in case anyone else is curious ;).)

They'll look a lot like Ancona ducks. :)

It's impossible to guess what a Harlequin crossed with a Pekin would look like, as Pekins are recessive for White. If a Pekin is wild mallard under the recessive white then you would be looking at a (in true breedings) split for dusky, wild mallard colouring with approximately 6-6.5 pound carriage which is in, yes, the Ancona size range.

Here's some pics of mine when they were babies, and some current pics, as well. :)

They're 16 weeks old now. There's 4 boys, and 1 girl. The black drake is getting green head feathers, and blue wing bars like a Welsh Harlequin. :)
