Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone can help. Our Peking Duck is 5 weeks old. She had bent in (Niacin deficiency?) legs that were thicker than the other Peking when we got them. Yesterday, she stopped getting up. The back claws that resemble almost thumbs, are turning black. We’ve done some research, and Bumblefoot came up as potential. Has anyone had a similar experience? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Post some pictures of the feet. That will help.

Could be bumble is that black a scab? try some Epsom salt soaks and then put up a new pic.

Also since she has a niacin deficiency what are you giving her? I'd rec along with warm water Epsom salt soaks some liquid B complex from TSC its in the cattle isle and will say injectable but peel off the foil and use a 1ml dropper and pull out then put over something she really likes so she gets full dose. Can you get some pics of her legs? will she use her legs when in water? Plus when using ES don't let them drink it it's also a laxative. If this is a leg issues plus bumble we have found once they have an issue the liquid B complex works the best.
