Pekins Investigating

Okay here is probably a stupid question but.. Has anyone ever had there ducks try to get into their chickens nesting box? Mojo and Jojo seem very interested in them and not sure if it's to start laying or what (they both seem to be girls, no curling yet! mounting yes) they are doing? they are 4 going on 5 months old. here is a picture of them investigating (as I call it). There is a chicken Mrs. Grey in one of the boxes. but they have been doing this the last 3 days.

They are probably just curious and are wondering why they can't get in there but everyone else can. Pekins usually have no desire to sit on their eggs so the need or want for a nesting box is not there.

My neighbors duck do that to sometimes we think its just curiosity
