Pellet feed at what age?

I've only managed to find one feed at my feed store that was pelleted and non-layer... but unfortunately my chickens never really liked it so I went back to their old feed.

There's a brand here in the upper midwest called Sprout made and sold by Fleet Farm. I think Purina sells their flock raiser in crumble and pellet.
