Pen dividers

I need some help on what I can use to divide my hopefully new pens with.
My family put an offer in on a house today and this house comes with what will be MY poultry barn. IMy plan is to have it like the breeder coop style the thing is I want to cheaper fence on the dividers between the pens. the out side fence will either be Chainlink or 2x4 wire fence.
I'm thinking about putting those between the pens. It'll be layed out laying hens then the ducks and then the show baties. Which will work best to seperate the pens?
Don't look at the prices it's all different lenthgs.

Or should I just use the chainlink all the way down?

I am very new but I used the black plastic cheap stuff between pens only! It seems to be working fine for me. I have it all the way up and I don't even have the seam sealed and still no escapes. The 2x4 would not hold chicks in and I would not think the plastic poultry netting would either. I may change my mind down the road but it has been up for several months and I like it just fine. I did have to put a 2x4 across the bottom to hold it down, so they could dig under to get to the other side. Easy to put up too.

The plastic netting with the small squares would hold chicks in...I hope...that is next on my chicken list, hatching my own babies

Hi from Ga. I use 2x4 welded wire and in my grow pen I use 1" square welded wire on the bottom 12"s. Plastic will work but I would worry about its stability. I can see using plastic netting on the overhead to keep the birds in.

Thanks for the input. If we get this house I'll post before during and after pictures after it's done. I want a cement floor but I don't know if I'll be able to affored it. I think the building is at least 40' long and 8' wide.

We've used B- the green plastic poultry fencing. Works great but needs to be supported. We used step in fence posts about every 8 feet and tied the fencing with twist ties, also sold at Lowes in a roll. Our pen is on a slope. If your land is flat, less supports might work.

I have used the 3/4 in. plastic deer net. It is very strong and its light weight . Very easy to put up and take down if need be !

Thanks everyone. I came up with a great plan. I will use wood for 2' high and deer or plastic poultry fence the other 4'. It'll make it so much easier to hide birds I bring home that way.
