penedesenca?

I'm in Portland, OR. I picked up some chicks from the small nursery/farm store a few blocks from my house. I had never heard of penedesenca before now. I took three of them home along with 3 others chicks I have raised before. My question is, since they are a more rare breed, how likely is it that these chicks are actual penedesenca? Is it more likely they are crosses?

farm stores don't usually stock high quality breeds, they could be real, just watch as they grow up, they should lay some nice dark eggs and have the proper coloring.
