Here are some more Silver Leghorn Pictures. In the last one you can see the White Leghorn of the same age way in the background having an awful lot of red on her head compared to the Silver Leghorn. The Red Leghorns I have of the same age even developed their combs sooner although they developed everything else from size to egg laying much later than the Silver Leghorn. So I would guess that chick as a possible Silver Leghorn.

I am interested to know the breed of your bird, as she's lovely. This is my Maybelline, who looks similar. Don't have the slightest idea of her breed but this is the first time that I've seen another bird with similar coloring.

Not to brag but isn't she a beauty?

My buddy got some from Tractor Supply. They were supposed to be Penedesencas. I’m not sure their age, but but not laying yet, so I approximate around three or four months.

I'll be curious to find out what the egg color turns out to be like.

Huh, Easter Egger eh? So total crapshoot as to whether or not I will ever see another beauty like her. We'll, that's ok. We rescued all of our girls from a Farm Animal Sanctuary so all we knew when we got them was "you're a chicken!". We've since been able to figure out the other breeds, so if she's an EE, she's in the same category with 2 of her 'sisters'.
