Penguin seems sick

Alright nothing bad seemed to happen when I gave her a little bit so I just gave her about 20ml more. I could feel and hear her actually drinking a bit of it. But then I heard what sounded like some sort of cough so I stopped. She seems to be struggling to get it down, immediate struggling when i stopped and pulled the tube out. Definitely gonna give her a bit and make sure she doesn't puke before giving her any more. Tube feeding her is just about the scariest thing ever

Okay so it seemed the first feeding went well, I just went in for the second one and noticed she had viscous saliva all over the inside of her bill. I tried going in for another round of tube feeding and put the tube as far in as I could, but she actually managed to spit it out. Any advice? @casportpony

Yeah I am confused because I put it in as far as it would go the tube stopped and would have bent if I put it any farther

Do you hold her neck up straight when you do it? If her neck is kinked, it will get stuck in her throat and not go as far.
