Penguin seems sick

Toxins and botulism can cause paralysis too, but that doesn't sound like what is going on here. Are her legs warm at all? Is it possible she hurt legs? Occasionally they jump and land poorly and hurt themselves. Do you clip the wings on yours or can she fly?
Her legs and feet are warm and don't look to be injured at all but it is possible she does fly. On that toxins point should I try giving her a charcoal tablet? Those I do have on hand

Anyone know if it's a good idea or not to do a charcoal pill? I'm just so worried she is laying flat like a pancake. Not really moving but she is there enough her eyes are open and she is enjoying the pets I am giving her but her eyes are like opening and closing maybe a little bit more than usual. She was perfectly fine at noon splashing around in her kiddie pool I am just so terribly anxious and worried

Giving a charcoal pill will not hurt. Mine eat charcoal all the time from my old burn piles. It is definitely worth a try.

If her legs are warm that could be a sign of infection or an injury from a bad landing or something else causing inflammation.

Do you have tube feeding supplies if you need to go that route?
