I am thinking about placing an order for some chicks, but I only need/want 6 out of order, the mini is 15 chicks, breeds I would like to ask for are from my list before, RIR, Australorp, Sussex, Oprington would anyone be interested in going in on this with me? We can meet up when the arrive? I have a quote of 65.50. I was going to just order a few I wanted but you get more when ordering the 15 Vs, my ordering just the 6 i want, course I would be spending the same amount of money.. hmmmmm

DUCKS!
I found a good article on NIACIN DEFICIENCY if anyone wants to have a look......

Are My Ducklings' Leg Problems Due to a Niacin Deficiency?

Originally posted by John Metzer on Wed, Dec 29, 2010 @ 03:22 PM

Niacin is a critical vitamin required for the correct development of ducklings and goslings. In fact, waterfowl have a higher requirement for niacin (also called nicotinic acid) than chickens. Niacin is formed from the amino acid tryptophan and waterfowl do not synthesize niacin well from tryptophan

Victors hackles look a little golden in this photo but they are not! It was how the photo turned out. He is going through a molt in this picture as well... I cull heavily for mahogany coloring.
