Thought it was about time to say Hi to my fellow Keystoners. I live in Montgomery co. Decided keep chicken as a hobby. Guess so my second childhood could have chickens too.

My min/max thermometer said it went to 11.7*outside here. The barn where the chickens nest boxes are only went to 32*. Now that the stone walls are cold its bound to get below freezing in the next cold wave. My laptop doesn't have a degree symbol.

Our girls handled the 2 day cold snap relatively well, though on thursday, they didn't leave the couple and go into the run area much at all.

BTW, is anyone going to or showing any chickens or ducks or other products at this years PA farm show?
