IDK how Vet RX works for combs/cold weather. But I can tell you that I had a chore finding it in my TSC. They did finally move it to the chicken isle, but I recently discovered that along the back wall, about ten feet from the chicken isle, starts another "mostly chicken with other small farm animals mixed in" isle.

Well, I guess you can have horses, as long as your dream horse doesn't lay eggs. You do not need a 'bator full of horse eggs!

Indiana county my first attempt at raising chickens. So far so good. Get a dozen eggs to as many as 17 a day. I have 19 hens and 3 roosters.

How many people are heating their coops this week? I am a believer in no added heat, but It is so cold! Especially since I did open the door today, so the windchill was a factor.
My next question is how many opened the door today, and did the girls go (and STAY) out to forage?

I don't have heat or electric in my coop so the girls and 1 boy have to tough it out. I did let them out yesterday and today. The cold doesn't seem to bother them. They're doing their normal routine. The eggs in the nest boxes were frozen. Other than that everybody is happy. I did bring in their frozen waterbowl in the house overnight to thaw.
