I think an incubator is next on my list of wants...since my silver seabrights have decided to gift us with eggs...

Even on a dreary rainy day my girls are hard at work! Just went our for my after lunch egg collection...brings todays count to 13 eggs from 15 chickens! The 3 older girls have redeemed themselves for their lazy winter laying and are regularly laying again. The new girls who just turned 6 mos are laying well and I am even getting 2 green eggs a day!

I got 6 peeps. One black Ameraucana Rooster, 3 blue Ameraucana hens, 1 blue Sumatra hen, 1 splash Sumatra hen. I also got a black naked neck hen, because they are so interesting. It was a busy day and lots of fun!

I got them from William and Christine Kitsch. If you go to the Ameraucana Breeders Club website there information is there. Look under the breeder directory tab, Pennsylvannia Breeders. They are great people!

I actually went there to look at an adult black Ameraucana rooster and got the peeps instead! What can I say, they were cuter

My computer isn't letting me access the breeders list...does the breeder you used by chance have a website?
