Qwe're at Rockview prison now, so still close, lol. It might be a bit though, I just whacked it back to just three or four stems to get it back to being bushy (it's inside for now). But when it starts to come back, I can give you a good start of it. They spread quickly, usually about 4-6 weeks after a transplant, they go wild!

I bought a thornless blackberry bush and this year I should be ready to take starters off of it, its tripled in size in 2 years. And my pear trees started producing fruit last year so this year I should getlotsof them, I have 3 trees in my dogs yard. to keep the deer off them

Ok, who can help me out with chick ID?? I hatched these guys almost 3 weeks ago. It was a mix of ameraucana, marans and olive eggers. I know that 2 marans eggs hatched and I think I had IDed one.

Now is it possible this is the other??




She looks nothing like the other light chicks that hatched and has a SMALL amount of leg feathering...




If not her, then who?? Here are the rest.

I didn't count the fruit trees...we have 3 or 4 dwarf apples (one of which has black apples...the chickens adore these) I believe there is a pear tree out there... The boys want me to plant a peach and a plum and a kiwi.

In the herb garden we have mint, rosemary, echinaccea, horseradish and stevia. I'll add sage, oregano, chives, basil, parsley, thyme in the spring.

Oh, I forgot that we have pumpkin and snake gourds in the pile of seeds down there....

Walmart had there display up and I grabbed the green beens and cucumbers,I want to put these in pots so the rabbits can;t get them , last year I planted they grew 4 inches and BOOM! there all gone,
