Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Nothing will get them to leave the pond. If they are away from the pond, I can get one of my English shepherds to help herd them back. Too close to the pond, and they go in to the small pool of open water at the end. I don't want a dog to follow them onto the ice - It's pretty thin in places after these warmer days.
will they come to shore for sardines? A tin of sardine, scattered in a line from pond to a short distance away may get them out long enough for the ES the cut them off from the pond...can't picture a duck turning it's bill up at a nice stinky fish! LOL

Hmmm, never thought about sardines. Worth a try.
