Now you know that nothing hatches while being watched..........
anyone on here have info on hair sheep, do not have the space to raise any cattle, thinking a couple of these could be in the plans for fall meat,,,,are they hard to raise, what are the feeding requirements, what would I expect to pay for say 3 youngsters in spring.
4 pips! Harmony should have 4 silkie chicks later tonight!!
Palms are totally yellow, no stripes.
I found out today that I might be getting some Blue Slates! Very excited. I home the Toms get along!
OK, so I guessed wrong.
I never had palms, but have had bourbon reds, slates & black Spanish at varying times. I love turkeys, but get sick of feeding them over the winter and have sold my flocks a couple times now. Just BB meat turks the past couple years.
There are two young (1 year old) hair sheep gals (and one ram of another breed, wool I think) for $50 each. Too far West for me, but it was a great deal. G would KILL me if I picked them up!
hoping for you too
Yum! I wish I was part of your family!
