Hey Blarney: Really small world....I'm a Ridley-ite also....grew up in Ridley Park, and had a appartment in Prospect Park for years....Delco folks are definity cut from a different cut of cloth!

I grew up on Rosemont Ave in Ridley Park, had an apt for a while on 13th Ave in Prospect, small world indeed.

Fastnachts are really heavy donuts...cooked in lard.

Making pancakes for dinner as that was my family's tradition for tonight. I assume they came from the same concept...you're not supposed to use fat for the 40 days of lent...so you used it up cooking your fastnachts or in my case pancakes...not that we've ever used fat to make them....*shrugs*

Is anyone giving up anything for Lent? Fiancee would love if I'd give up looking for new chickens....LOL

Made the first 30 of the leaves (ok, I made some acorns too) that will be the seating cards for the wedding today...they're in the oven.....and will be for another 3 hours! LOL
