Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

It would be great if those going to the york show can meet up, or at the MD show in sharpsburg, or both. :) I will have my bigger coop set up by then. No telling what i will come home with. I am still trying to find some olive eggers, maybe some more EE or Araucanas. Maybe i should get birds that are a little older so i can get hens instead of possibly having all these Roos around.
I want to post pics of my chicks so you guys can tell me what you think, but it would be one extremely long post on here to get through all 23. :) Any tips or ideas where to post?

Sally, that poultry show in York is 1 hr. 17 minutes from you. Why don't you go, meet some of us? Load your car with chickens, come home empty handed (except for the Serama Roo I'd be bringing you). I personally would take some Cochins and Serama Hens??????? I'm sooo not kidding!
where is york, and I just gave 2 roos to eli

I cant tell what the sexes are on the next set of chicks yet : (

and I left those chicks in the bator (cochin just for you!) but they are not due till easter hatch

and silkies and they are GORGEOUS babies too!

I didn't have good luck with the eco-glow brooders.

Gmama, sorry you lost your EE, she was a very pretty lady.

Sally, everyone has settled in well, Thank you!!!

I have 8 Marans chicks!!!!  No assisted hatching.  All natural!

Next up, English Orps, b\b\s, and some Ameraucana!

Lilbrownie, I am crafty too!  the shopping addiction! the chicken addiction! What's next???  Do you like cheese, its my favorite food!

I am also sad to say that I ordered 12 Mottled Bantam Cochins egg, only two are developing :-(

Good news is my hot mess of homegrown eggs are doing well!  So that makes 40 for that hatch, can't wait to see what I get!

Welcome to all the new folks,  happy chickening!

I also wanted to say I have two broodies already!!!

I love cheese too! Omg are you sure you arent my long lost sister?? We def need to get together and I'm sure our girls would have a blast together talking about their chickens and how much they love them? So sorry about the eggs? I plan on setting some from my trio in about a week so maybe I can get you some more?

Thanks for the warning!
Well, I'm hoping someone can guide me to some Cochin Bantam females.  Don't want to show or breed, just wish to spoil them rotten and have them as pets here on my little farm.  By far my favorites!

I have bantam Cochins and I have some eggs set right now but it would be some time til I could sex them for you if you only want hens!

Off topic question, as if we we have a topic. Does anyone else use bag balm as a hand cream for chapped skin? It's sold for anudder purpose.
No, not that, but I am loving my Udderly Smooth Lotion!
