Congrats to fisherlady and radioman! 

My babies all survived their first night in the coop. The 6 weekers are really enjoying the extra space to spread their wings. I think Chicken Noodle Soup might be a rooster, based on the behavior between he and Arkansas (who is definitely a rooster). What is a typical rooster to hen ratio? I have 30 chickens total. Will 2 roosters be ok? What about 3? 

We had our Easter dinner yesterday (turkey, because my Dad is always winning frozen turkeys at banquets). Today we're going to have Chinese takeout!

I have 8 or 12 of my 30some! LOL But don't go by my ratios.

Are you serious!?!?!?!? MY GF lives in Lebanon and I am there most of the time. I work at GSH. If you need eggs I have chicken eggs out the wazoo, heck I even have quail eggs. And for a piece of that I would drop the eggs off. My ex wife would make that too(**** Italian temper). Would go to the Italian market in Reading and get the fresh Mozz, and all the really good deli meats as well as the fresh riccotta. That and the Spaghetti pie.
I love to "fall over" and catch the Easter pie.

The way to find me is follow the chickens eating the bread crumbs.
Yeah it was warmer lol.

Whattayamean (****Italian temper)???? I......I.....you know what, I can't lie, it's all true and today is a Holy day..LOL!!! I got my husband a t-shirt that says "Pray for me, My wife is Italian". This doesn't have the mozzerella or ricotta, but if you would like to try some, I can wrap you up a piece. If you and your GF like my Nana's version, I am sure I can make an extra next year to share with you. Will PM you and tell you how to get here. Let me know when you are coming and I'll make sure we're here.

I believe I said in an earlier post that our Good Friday was a very good Friday!

Well after 10+ yrs we made it official.... Radioman is now my DH instead of my SO... (the 'fiance' stage was only a few weeks, so kinda skipped that step! LOL)

Its pretty much finished. I would just like to even out the stones a little bit more.



What it looks like from outside the pen. That black lump is the dirt I was going to use.... but its frozen solid!!!!! -.-
The pile of "stuff" thats seen on the left is the supplies for the next pen Going to be about 24-28 feet long by about 16 feet wide. The front will be used for the tractors the back for the ducks.



The pheasants new dust bath! Made from play sand and DE. I caught them using it this morning haha!



Added some accents to the pampas grass.

need a quick answer from all the medical folks on here,,,,got arthritis in the hip,,,,headed shortly for a hot shower ...what else helps,,,,need to sleep tonight and the hip kind of prevents that...
