The one everyone's talking about was last Saturday at The Green Dragon, in Ephrata. They have sales weekly, but Saturday was a special sale with more variety. The Maryland Poultry Swap & Farmers Market in Sharpsburg, Md. is being advertised on Baltimore Craigslist. Says it's June 16th. Not sure if it's any good though. Maybe someone on here will have some feedback.
The Sharpsville Swap is awesome!! I don't know the exact numbers but there were many breeders (30+ ?) selling and it seemed like hundreds buying. A very good turnout in the spring. Even the fall swap had a great turnout although it was rainy and dreary. It's definately worth the drive. It's a great way to meet other chicken nuts and fellow BYC'ers. Oh and by the way, hello to all in PA from Cecil County, MD, the county just south of Lancaster. We spend alot of time up that way. I love the state!!

Hello Cecil County!! I lived in Harford County my entire life until October, so spend most of my time down there. Pennsylvania is beautiful though, we're happy here. Thanks for the info about the Swap. IF I can convince my husband that a two hour drive for chickens is worth it(of course I think it is) then I'll see you there. I already missed the biggie at Green Dragon because of a Mother's Day Dinner. Maybe that will give me some leverage.
