A lot has happened today. My mom found homes for her flock. I got rid of my Roos and decided to keep my moms FBCM. He is a beauty!! And now no more fighting in the coop!! The Sussex was a bully. My fav hen is now happily integrated with the rest. I just have two hens that peck her when she gets close to them. Mowing just worry about her laying an egg out of the nest box and them eatting it. Silkie is happy with her 4 chicks. The 2 isbars are working their way out. All in all I think I didn't do too bad. Just need to get the humidity up more at the end. But I have successfully help 2 chicks out of shrink wrap so far.

Hopefully if he pulls through the night, no culling, and I will go to the avian vet in Quakertown, hopefully she is there on Mondays. fingers crossed!

When Wing says she's getting ready to butcher turkeys and has 3 leftover (after I get mine!) you can look at the map and see how close you are to Wing and if it's worth it to make the drive. (it REALLY is!!!!)

My grandmother was just let out of the hospital on Wednesday from a really close call and the home health nurse that came wanted a copy of a living will.

A.. I'm always here to help you out....LOL And Celtic Fling after orange juice was probably indeed not the best plan! As to the log pieces I need, I'm going to use a piece of wood as my cake plate, so it needs to be like 18 inches across/around? And prolly what 2-3 inches thick? And then one of a smaller diameter, but about 6-9 inches tall...big enough around to hold up the piece on top of it and a 3 tier cake.

Hey guys! This is our newest foster dog, Banana! He is a lab/pointer(?) mix and about 7-8 months old. He is up to date with all his vet stuff, including being already neutered. Banana is a super sweet boy and we are looking to place him with a super sweet family. Great with other dogs and kids. He was just hours away from being put down in a shelter in Georgia when we rescued (saved) him. PM me and I will get right back to you!

I spent the night in the ER. I fell down my mom's boyfriend's bank and twisted my ankle. It swelled up and turned black and blue immediately. Thankfully it isn't broke that they can see. I have ligament damage and I have to wear a splint. I am trying to use it as much as possible - last night I couldn't walk on it at all. I can't get a hang of the crutches....

So, that was my excitement for my Saturday.



I am revamping my flock and selling birds again. Bantam Orps (blue, black and chocolate), LF chocolate & mauve Orp project, some Mille Fleur bantam Cochins, ducks and geese. Pm me if interested in anything.

Picked up my new coop today...serious PIA getting off the trailer and in place....a coat of paint and a pen and I'll be good to go...BTW do chickens like long strait runs say 5'x20' or would a square be better?
