Here's some pics of Roo. Stitch is hiding in the forsythia so I haven't gotten any of her yet. I haven't posted pics of our ducks in a long time, if ever, so here's some video of them playing today. Ginger staring at the ducks while they play...

Ginger's a really cute pooch....bet she keeps the preditors at bay....

Stake: she does a GREAT job! Over the last 11 yrs she's killed 2-3 possums per season, (Spring/Summer/Fall) 4 raccoons and at least 6 skunks. I still can't figure out why someone would just ditch her. She was (and still is even with the lyme and advanced age) very hyper and has seperation issues, but she's a very loving dog and is VERY protective of me and Gavin. It was so sad when I found her, she was coming up to every car as it slowed down as if to say "Don't leave me." So I figured I'd finish what I needed to do in town, and if she was still there when I was coming home I'd pick her up and we'd look for a new home for her. Well, obviously, she was still there and still coming up to cars, so I pulled over tossed some food in the back, she hopped right in and hasn't left. We did try to rehome her right after I found her, end result: 2 broken chains and a demolished solid oak door and 4 hours later she was back here.

That was me lol I ended up getting it this morning, 3-5 days pfffft was exactly what I thought, it was coming from Hazel township! So my lil roxy is all happy and has a full stock of food again!

The whole thing is wrong, and you shouldn't even have to explain that you will be setting off fireworks. And I feel bad for those poor horses. I only go away a few days at a time to see my family, and IT IS NEVER ON 4TH OF JULY because I could not bear to leave my animals with all the scary noises around. and when I do leave, I pay someone I am close with and trust to come no less than twice a day to (at least 3 or 4 in summer when its hot) to check in on them. And it's always someone that will treat them like I do!! My fainting goats need their kisses on the nose before bed, and if someone is not interested in interacting with seriously loving care, they are not hired. Those poor babies need someone to love them!
And I can understand how frustrated the people running animal shelters must be, but I have had some real bad experiences and just don't trust them a lot anymore If I win the lottery, I am opening my own.

Oh, and here is the diaper cake I made for a gift.


It's about 90 diapers and all the little decorations are baby things the mommy will need or toys.
