Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

We got our first egg yesterday (brown egg) I found it under the rabbit hutch and thought it was a mushrooms so was going to go dig it up so dogs didn't get it. what a lovely surprise! So last night we put golf balls where we wanted them to lay and this morning I found an egg in the coop (white egg) from one of my leg horns. so excited! They are 17 weeks, now if only my Ducks would start laying. They are 20 weeks so soon hopefully.

I am in need of finding a home for my two lemon cuckoo orpington roosters. They are double barred. In fear of township ordinances & my husband suggesting a BBQ I am hoping someone can use them for breeding or for flock protection. I have one that loves attention & sits on my lap. Never thought I would be so attached to chickens. I'm tearing up as I'm posting this. Crazy huh? Please PM if your interested. My zip is 17339.
Very nice roosters, I like the colors!
Bare wood or patterned rug? Which would you do?
Bare wood for sure!

Three of the ducks kinda look like Mallards. The female on the right looks more like a Khaki Campbell.

Here are up date pics of the chicks, who are now 1 week and 4 days old!!! If anyone can tell what the sex of these little ones are, I would be very interested to know...but I realize it' is very early, but some say they can tell because of the wings/feathers

..got me!! I am thinking I will just have to wait !

#2 has clean legs and has chick-a-dee markings...My husband has named this one...silly man, "Chick-chika-dee"..it is his favorite..I am really hoping this is a female. I told him I would be interested in keeping one girl....The rest are going to need good homes once we know who is what...

#3 chick has feathered legs (lighter) and a white neck

Sorry about the pic quality...will work on new pic soon. Hope everyone is well, along with your feathered/fur friends! -Danielle

Okay, I am going to go strip the floor now. I think I will cut around the fish tank. No sense messing with emptying it, moving it, filling it ...
Thank you for the opinions!

Hi everyone! :frow I asked on the PA unite meet up/planning thread (I think that's what it was called) but didn't get many responses, so I'm gonna ask here.

Is anyone interested in coming to a chicken/livestock swap at the Delmont/Murrysville TSC on August 4th? It starts at 7 am, and is free setup.

I need a new POL pullet or hen. I have a really good bantam rooster, and I would only trust selling him to a fellow BYC member that I could keep in touch with. He's young, and actually attempted his first crow today at 7.5 weeks! I got 2 roos from the straight run bin, and would be willing to trade him for a pullet/hen or even just selling him to you and buying a different hen. Let me know if you'd like to come! You can reply on here or PM me!

is there a website or Facebook page for this?
