sharron..that is still alot of chickens...hahaha ...ohh, if I would have known you were getting rid of your BLRWS....I love the wyandottes, they have a lot of personality!! How are the calf & bull getting along, now that betty has a new home?

looked up predators in PA and this."mammals in PA"...they have a whole list of creatures & critters..
i liked them too, always had a laugh to see the rooster with all the hens walking behind him, those hens loved that rooster

but like i said, fell in love with the big "boys" the brahma's, they are so gorgeous, the young roosters have so many feathers on their feet that they don't walk, they march with the high knee action, hoping that one day they grow into their feet

remember i also have the mini hereford bull, jr. the bull i sent to the butcher today, we bought yesterday at the auction, which might be the last time we do this, i sure didn't want to take him this morning, thinking next time will just buy one already butchered, one i don't "know". i keep this up will only eat veggies

nosie loves jr. lol, hoping by the time shes two, they will have a little jr or nosie, then i have to break her to milk, which will be lots of fun but i can do it, bill will tell you, i'm as stubborn as a mule.

stubborn as a mule can be a very good thing!!

..being a small person, had to be extra stubborn..er, umm..."firmly resolved"..yes..that's it!!

glad to hear that jr. & nosie are getting along, will be real nice to have a little-one around! It is going to be hard to process the girls when it is time, but I know it has to be done. Todd is a big help with that too. When I focus more on just the "process" of it all and not "who" it is..then I am alot better, still harder when dinner has a name though
roll.png
...oh, I do only eat veggies, eggs and cheese.. but only because of health stuff....so it won't be me having dinner with "ginger".
I do like brahamas and other feathered-leg birds....those Brahamas are huge!! Seen some pictures..OMG, they are like toddlers..
