..hahaha..read first-ask second..duh!...
anyway,
May looks good..do they have to under lamp yet at that time..generally?
There are some nice looking turkeys out there..never thought i would say that!! hahhaa....

I hatched in may, treated like chickens, actually raised with some, heat lamp same temps, etc they just her bigger. I also used higher protein feed, 24 to start, then 20% the rest of the time.
I was new at it, but they were about the same as chickens. They are really friendly and fun so I will warn you, if you plan to eat them, try not to get attached!

I hate using the phone for this. So many typos,

cleaning coops now?? it is so cold....i use sand..i just put a bunch of leaves in their coop/run..DH looked at me like..."WHY?"..then.."they are your chickens"..what the heck is that supposed to mean?!...Okay.i will have to filter the leaves out of the sand...not a biggie....anyway...the inside if their "sleeping quarters" haha..looks pretty icky, no poopy- i clean it out every day, but the marks/smears(sorry, i know it is gross), left by it... when do you all usually clean that kind of stuff? I do not like to see it...(OCD

)..it is hard for me not to clean it. I AM going to wait till "spring" to scrub it all down., that would make them being in there a "full" season,..would that be okay? and what about the roost bars?...i scrape them off, but they are grody too......
