Sorry about the hatching eggs....and relatives can be a PIA....I've found it useful to push back and not worry if somebody takes offense(yeah, its the delco in me)...if nothing else, they will usually measure what they say to you more carefully....
okay..curiosity has killed the cat...if i may ask, what does 'delco' mean? my ignorance is showing..sorry

LMP-The kids did all the decorating on this batch. They colored them before drying using q-tips dipped in food coloring. You can also decorate after they dry using markers, paint or glitter glue.

that is a great craft to do with the kids!! We made a hand print of my niece, for my brother & sister in law. We used the 'salt'-dough recipe. It worked really well, going to be doing foot-prints of the grand daughter as Christmas gifts for her mommy & daddy.

GM folk:

Declo =Delaware county....delco folks have been know to have an 'attitude'....

Interesting that my 5 week old chick is chugging around the backyard with the big girls...I am giving them all added scratch to 'carb up', but this doesn't match with the instructions of using a heating lamp and maintaining brooder temps...its pretty cold out there...

All:

I think I've found a source for these....anybody want any just pm me....I am going to use one for a hawk protector...but, its a pretty good start to a 4x4 coop......

need some luck or maybe some guidance from those that have tried....

no chicken to process today, but I will be doing about 2 dozen quail this afternoon and 2 ducks.

gonna try the quail in the plucker and see what happens, and the ducks are next to impossible to pluck at this time of the year so I am gonna try the wax method, sounds messy.
