My sick roo is starting to make a comeback! I am tickled pink to see my boy getting stronger...I think he's turned the corner and its about getting back to stud muffin status....may take a week or so....but that's a small effort.....

So I am so happy to report that this very morning I got 2 eggs.............

from my newly laying wyandottes...............

THE VERY DAY AFTER THE POLAR VORTEX!!!

it is amazing to me that they would be laying a day after such a cold and possibly stressful day for them!!!

maybe it was just stressful for us? worrying about them and another day for them???

The eggs are smaller than from my NHR and since I got 2 this morning I know its rom both wyandottes.

Now if only I could get my very first blue egg.............that is next............stay tuned!

work schedule is kind of hectic till friday, I can get her some pics after that....
temperment is hard to judge,,, when they are in the big pen with everyone else they prefer left to their own thing, but when they are housed alone, they will fly to the top of the head when you walk in.......I think they may be bipolar...

Wing, they are just like most of my relatives...many years of many holidays....lol
