Hey Folk:

My sick chook is failing...suspect the ultimate cause was being egg bound...tried a bunch of meds and got her to start eating for a day or so, but, she crashed yesterday....I forced a bit of water and moved her close to the space heater....her buddy is hanging with her....and its just a matter of waiting....really sucks....

The white one in the cabinet is Deaf He maybe staying with us. We are only asking 500 for him and 1000 for everyone else. But he will need to find a speical family and if i can then that family will be us!!!

He would fit right in with my special needs bird. I just can't justify spending as much on a pup as on a whole month's rent.

Yeah i can understand that. They are pure breeds with papers. vet certs, shots and dewormed. You cant even buy a mutt for cheap anymore. The people next to us just bought a lab/poodle and paid 600 for it.

My aunt sells mixed pups as "designer breeds" for over $1000 each. A frind hab 2 beagle/chi pups he couldn't give away at the swap meet 2 summers ago. He pawned them off on me. I turned around & sold them for $50 each by calling them Bewawas...lmao

I fermented the feed & then covered the entire top of the bowl full with oyster shell. They couldn't avoid it that way. You wouldn't have to ferment, just dampen the food to make it harder to pick through for the "treat" parts.
I want the spotted & the white! (Now to win the lottery so I can afford them.)

Thanks so much, I'll do that this evening before bedtime for them, I always give them treats before they go to sleep. I was planning on warm oatmeal this evening, maybe i'll just mix the oatmeal, their layer & some dried mealworms then put the oyster shell on that...yum yum, they won't be able to resist! I always give them some greens every day too.

We had one who was a little slow out of the box, but is doing so much better already.
