I grew up with huskies. It's the rottie part that worries me. She was, however, literally born in a barn & has already learned to leave the animals alone. She completely ignores the cats, chicks & ducks sharing the garage with her.

Rotties are just sweet and lovable, if you raise them right, like NOT letting other animals and people attack them.

Rottie's are big babies,,,,,,my experience with them is that they are only mean when trained to be that way,,,all the rottie's I know are very large lap dogs..

And...in less than 24 hours...has already bypassed my "no dogs in the house" rule. She hasn't moved from that spot in over 20 minutes.
 
Rotties were originally farm and drovers' dogs. Some still herd and guard livestock on farms today. It is the husky that has the prey drive. Huskies can be smart and trainable but not always biddible, especially around other animals, poultry and cats for example, which they may view as prey.
 
My grandmother's husky was a notorious cat killer. The red husky my son had was born & raised around cats & left them alone but hated my dad's beagle pup & tore into it every chance she got. Sasha hasn't even bothered to investigate any of my other animals. She's very laid back.
