Very cute!!...What breed is that? hope it is a girl for you!
Have heard of the beer thing, never tried it...can't bring myself to buy just to pour it in the ground, I know-i know..you don't actually put it IN the ground

...hahahha..I can't even drink! ..hahaha, we do the soapy water thing...if things start to get out of hand maybe will try the beer before going to the chemicals..would probably be cheaper anyway!
oh most certainly we did! I can't imagine how we wouldn't have!! Yeah, that road is umm..less than desirable. So many nutters on there, too fast, not paying attention...always accidents.
Wish you had another way too!! Be careful out there...when in doubt, ramming speed..oh wait, wrong situation..hahaha..

...you are welcome..you don't actually want real pics do you?! ahahhaa....

you are the first person to respond.................I was thinking perhaps I hit a nerve or it really wasn't funny etc etc.........................no pics really desired...........this was an attempt at humor! oh well!

That's how we ended up with our EE rooster.

They are all so cute! I do hope she's a she for you.

Now I want to take a drive to TSC to see if ours got chicks in yet.

Then I have to figure out how where I'm going to grow them up for a few weeks till they get feathers. That is IF they have what I'm looking for even.

I have got Spring Fever soooooo bad right now!

I call Tractor Supply every day, and what I got today was "Yes, we received a small shipmet today". :weee Guess where I'm going tonight? I can't get anything though.

Sending out a desperate plea for hatching eggs that will give me fluffy yellow peeps to set next Thursday. If you or anyone you know locally (within driving distance) has anything, PLEASE pm me.

My mom's friend is a photographer and is doin easter photos. She asked me if I could hatch her peeps and I said of course (assuming Priscilla would be laying by now), but it doesn't look like I'll be able to get half a dozen eggs by next Thursday. Darn. Buff cochin chicks would have been perfect. If anyone has any eggs I could hatch just give me a price. I only need a half dozen. Please no crested chicks.

If you have any pekin duck eggs I'd take that as a last resort.

I'm around the Delmont area.

Regarding the schedule of pullet delivery I posted earlier, when they advertise pullets, are they the fluffy chicks or older birds? I just had a horrible thought of having a coop but needing a brooder also if they were just referring to female chicks and not slightly older birds.
Not that I have a coop yet.

Most sell day old, or so, chicks. Figure about 5 weeks until you can even think about putting them outside without a lot of heat. First week around 95 and 5 degrees lower each week until fully feathered. This time of year (even in to April) I generally have a heat source at night for 5 week old.
