I picked up 10 nuggets Tuesday & the little buggers have already almost doubled in size.

Wing this sounds good...DS wants meaties in the worst way! I just haven't committed yet. we're definitely doing turkeys this year, I don't know if I can make the leap with 2 new projects at once. and YES, that boy is the spitting image of both Mom and DAD! awesome....wish he was nicer...and a she

This comes from a small South Central PA forecasting group called S&S Storm Chasing & Forecasting Team. They have both a facebook page ~ https://www.facebook.com/SsStormChasingAndForecastingTeam and a website ~ http://www.ssstormchasing.com

They have been right on almost every storm this winter and have come out with the information far ahead of the local news or even the US National Weather Service. They have been predicting this storm for over a week already, while the others are just starting to mention it. They also said there could been another one coming around the 7th or 8th ~ unknown snow or rain yet.

Some of the local news forecasters have criticized them for coming out with major snow forecasts too early ~ I would rather be told there is a chance of a lot of snow and then not get it than have them wait to tell us until the last minute and then have no time to prepare.

Not yet, money has been an issue and not knowing if we will swing it or not, me thinks not. And hubs is having some pain again so I am not sure what the future will hold for us. I pray his Diverticulitus hasnt returned because he doesnt have much Large in there anymore :( I am praying he is just a woosy and its nothing major
 
Got 4 eggs today from the silkies.
Question is they were in a coop outside.Will they still be good to incubate in this cold?
Want to start stocking them up for a couple days before they go in.Storing them in the basement at about 55 degrees.

Sending out a desperate plea for hatching eggs that will give me fluffy yellow peeps to set next Thursday. If you or anyone you know locally (within driving distance) has anything, PLEASE pm me.

My mom's friend is a photographer and is doin easter photos. She asked me if I could hatch her peeps and I said of course (assuming Priscilla would be laying by now), but it doesn't look like I'll be able to get half a dozen eggs by next Thursday. Darn. Buff cochin chicks would have been perfect. If anyone has any eggs I could hatch just give me a price. I only need a half dozen. Please no crested chicks.

If you have any pekin duck eggs I'd take that as a last resort.
