Wow! That's quite a selection. Very nice.

Another FREEZING cold morning... I have not braved the weather yet to feed and water. Need to get the ground ready for winter veggies, I am bound and determined to plant my snow peas on St. Patty's Day!!

yak I couldn't make up my mind it's my first to. I let my kids pick a few. Is that a bad thing to have a variety?

I love variety. No 2 of my chickens are the same.

Just candled my eggs..... still have 25 chicken eggs developing! I have four duck eggs in there doing great also! I am so glad I bought the fan assembly for my gator, it has helped so much in keeping the temps correct. :)

Seriously? I don't think Theres any way I'll have mine in by then! I think there is still ice in my garden! Amd I'm normally very early, I've put some in in February years past

Personally, I think it's excellent, I LOVE to look out back to a large variety of plumage. Also love having multi colored eggs.

I worked the garden a bit this week clearing growth around the 'pea tressle'? (Fallen limbs nailed together to support peas) and it was doable. We have some black pourous clothe left from construction that I'd like to try 'warming the earth' with, just need to get my butt in gear.

Yeppers, just got back in....its raw out there...and I have gotten my peas in on St Pat's day for years....it will be a challenge this year...I still have some patches of frozen ground and after today it'll be getting colder.....
