I was trying to grow some grass inside in a small tray. It hasn't sprouted yet. I like the idea of the covered box with the grass. Might try that. I grew some micro greens and gave them the sprouts. The seed package was so small, need to find micro greens in a bigger seed pack.
 
I do pretty much like CC, I also am growing extra Cherry Tomato plants, they get the low ones through the fence and I can throw a few when ever I want them to move...mine also would not touch marigolds or Kale, or dandy lions....go figure....

as for grass, I grow grass in the main run, even with over a hundred birds,,,,,It grows under grates that the birds can only get to what sticks up, we lift these grates every year and have a look, if needed we retill the area and plant grass seed...

Howdy from ChesterCo....GB, you might ping Troyer, I am not sure the breed anymore but, he has one breed that I think is Thai related.....(could be wrong though).....
 
Today I have a case of the incubation blues....10 of 14 eggs are on day 21, and not a pip or peep....the last four are due tomorrow...tic toc, tic toc....
