Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

It wasn't until I came here that I realized I'm probably going to be the "crazy chicken lady". As soon as I see someone is selling chicks, I quickly see where they are from and if they are close to me. Like I NEED more right now.

But you do need more! We will all agree with you on that.

HMM! Hadn't thought of that. Would certainly make spacing a little more formal. (I like formal, she does not...)

Was great to meet you yesterday, thanks for the sage and mint!

The good news? Those beautiful eggs are successfully under our broody.

The bad news? She ate the olive one. This is doubly ironic because we scrambled up the previous eggs (The one's labeled "fertile", of which none really were!) and she wouldn't touch them, and her name is Olive.

I'm gonna rename her Weeds to see if I can get her to work in the garden.

Ok, it's near the end of May. ..I shouldn't still need a coat! I'm at my son's baseball game and I actually had to go sit in the car even though I have a jacket on since I can't feel my fingers and toes! Now i may be one of those people that are always cold bit this is pushing it. Grrr!

rant over

in lighter news, we got some Carrots planted today in an old wheel barrow bucket lol. Our onions area growing like crazy and more seedlings are showing up each day (corn, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, spinach) :) I'm still trying to figure out where to plant the pumpkins, zucchini, and water melon though.

sometimes not, sometimes its a good thing, in my case, glad i'm a thousand miles away lol, good luck

I currently have no drivable vehicle & no license. Current neighbors are so stuck up & self centered it's not even funny. In the past 5 months, I managed to get 1 to take me to the store ONCE & another to take me to the feed mill ONCE. That's even with giving them gas money & waiting on their schedule. There are 9 houses on my 3/8 mile long driveway & half of them are related & none of them like any of the others. The only 1 who even talks to me is the married 1 who keeps trying to get me to visit him while his wife is at work. Do I have "stupid" stamped on my forehead???
My grandparents, several aunts & uncles and a bunch of cousins are all within 15 miles of where I'm moving to & the landlord is my 3rd cousin, which we didn't know until we started talking & mentioned the grandparents' last name. He graduated with my little brother & didn't realize they were related...lol
