Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Good luck and happy fishing! We never got our licenses this year, it's just been too busy and crazy. Catch a few for me!

Just for you and stake... Dillon helping to show off 'his fish'...LOL ...our day was drastically shortened due to thunderstorms but we ended with 8 eyes...2 more days to fish and we ended today with a good pattern figured out so we can start from there tomorrow.
Now to enjoy an evening at camp...

We just left the lake about an hour ago! I caught 1 big white bass and a blasted goby, after about 5 hours lol. DH is docked at the marina waiting out the current band of thunderstorms to go out and try his luck again.... The kids and I decided to settle for bonfire and homemade pizza (rain or no rain, I'm having a fire tonight, darnit!). Nice looking fish!!

Very good looking Walleye! I hope you catch a lot more in you're remaining days of fishing!

Here is a Mama non of the other hens would dare to mess with, especially when she has chicks. She has only 4 chicks, which I don't mind as it is a late hatch for me.

The radar doesn't look too promising for a few hours...hope you get at least a bit of clear skies for your bonfire and your husband gets a little more time on the water.

My phone won't let me quote so bear with me

I don't know what kind of bunny it is. Just looks like a normal bunny with the ears that stand up (I know nothing about rabbits lol). It's white with hey ears and a couple grey spots and is about 2 months old. We grabbed some rabbit pellets for it. What's the Timothy hay for? We don't have a wire cage yet but it's hanging out in the brooder with wood chips in the bottom.

MotorcycleChick: oh my gosh! Lol, I'm dying here

The Timothy hay is for them to eat. Good source of fiber.

The brick is a good idea for the nails, or trim them, much like a dog.

A board is nice for them to last on. I recommend wire cages for ease of Snowdon purposes, they poo a lot, it is great fertilizer, won't burn your plants. The salt lick is optional, most pellets contain salt.

You can also give them fresh greens as treats. Carrot tops, dandelion, lettuce, etc.

I was disappointed at the Butler swap today. On FB it sounded so big. I drove 40 miles to go today and the one right down the road is AT LEAST double the size. Only about 8 cars there total. It was listed to start at 10 so I got there early at 915 and people didn't start showing up until like, 1045. There was one other guy there before it started.

On the bright side, I sold all of my birds. If you're the guy who bought my cockerels, holler. I forgot to ask if you were on here.

the Altoona swap stunk too :( I still have my extra roo (so if someone needs a young blue copper Marans cockerel, let me know). I did get excited though for a minute. One guy offered to trade his two young BCM hens for my Lou BUT I looked at them and they were both young cockerels and they didn't know it :( so disappointing.

Seems early but the pear tree is loaded with pears to the point that branches are bent and the 2 walnut trees have dropped a few nuts....

Now the pears I have never been able to use since they are keifer pears, I can never get them to soften and not be grainy, tried making wine and that didn't go well either ( Ray, I will try o keep an eye on them, and let out know hen ready)
The walnuts I am determined to get this year, even if I have to break one at a time in the vise.

Also found another tree that I think is some kind of nut, but could not get to any of them, if I take a picture tomorrow will any of you know just from the leaves..

I should have explored this wooded section along time ago.
