Congrats on the roof! You are getting there, and YES...they can be VERY stupid...Got the rubber roof on the coop. Using leftover pond liner. Made the ramp. But 3 of my bad girls went thru the shadow board fence so no more being out for them. Once the run is built I can use the fencing from the pen to block off the fence so they can be out again. Stupid birds.
So sorry to hear about Babs...my phone doesn't have the emoticons but if it did I would give you a ((((giant hug)))).
I'm glad the rest are doing good for you!

You had to have bathed them before picture timeSome bantam mutts that I'll use to make something...not sure yet what I'll use them for, they are out of a black red hen and a Platinum rooster. Somewhere in the parent's background there was recessive white. Rooster and pullet in the first picture and photos of the same rooster on the left at different angles.

Dheltzel, where you at, I need to know what to do with these trees, should I pick pears early and ripen them in paper, or wait till they drop....same with the walnuts, should I gather what drops early, or is that the tree's at of getting rid of bad one's?
Can the chickens have any of this, these tree's are loaded beyond what I can use.
