this is the stage that gives me more gray hairs !all plugs are open. the humidity I raised because the membrains r white n dry
AND,,, it's a good idea NOT to rush things,,, do a little at a time,,, they can stay in the egg for hours as long as they can get air !this is the stage that gives me more gray hairs !
I have assisted soooo many chicks because of just this situation,,,, good luck Sally,,, I've used warm water and Qtips to wet the membrane...several applications until it absorbs the water well and break away alot of shell so they don't have to work so hard,,,, just be careful,,, don't tear membrane with blood veins,,,, STOP as soon as you see ANY blood if you go tearing at the membrane
Quote: I have already lost most of the red to gray! I just finished dabbing again, I have been going down every hour and just dabbing, this last time I saw some feet on two of them and the other one is really locked in good so I dabbed it again when I finished the others. They started to chirp and move heads alot so I am assuming they are looking better ??????????? The one that hatched is running all over them, I assume normal? Thanks for the support, this is freakin nerve wracking, but I didnt even know if I could do a staggered this way! So these hatching are your BCM babies!! The black ones have yellow under their chins!!! I hope they make it they look awesome!!!
