Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

i put linoleum tiles on the floor and even walls of my coop. It cleans up great! I got the tiles very inexpensively at the habitat for humanity restore.

I also have a dog crate plastic tray under the roost so I can just slide that out, sweep it and rinse off the tray. Since most of the mess is below the roost ..seemed like a good place. Then no scraping etc of the floor.........just slide and remove.

good luck!

So, my SQ silkie rooster died today.... I moved my flock into my aviary last week and they seemed to be fitting in fine, but today I found him in the aviary pond dead ... He has feathers covering his eyes so maybe he walked into because he couldnt see and drowned..... Its a real shame

So sorry! Losses are so hard, even worse when there is no clear explanation to help understand what happened.

x3 on linoleum, I found a remnant piece at a local flooring store and got it cheap. I didn't care about the color. For walls I got a bunch of bathroom type wall paneling (with the shiny, waterproof surface). I got 'left overs' from discontinued patterns, so it was about 1/3 the normal cost of the panels. (4x8 sheets)
It is much easier to clean and actually I can hose it out when I want without problem.

Just send me a PM so I can keep track of you that way.  They will not be out buy next weekend.  I am looking at the following week.

Any time after I get the bator is fine. It will need filled frequently.

I can't find the post...but someone said they always went to the Uniontown poultry swap.  I have some questions.  Could you please pm me

I have been there a few times. @chippysmom327 goes to almost all of them & @dmccann also goes frequently. I know it's once per month on Sunday starting at 7am, admission is $2 per vehicle whether you are buying or selling. I think it's usually the 3rd Sunday each month? Someone correct me if that's wrong please.

Found their website. It has a calendar with swap details on the right side of the page at the top.http://www.uniontownpoultry.com/

Working on a sign to warn egg customers that I will be worming all critters..not sure what to put on it

This is not done with traditional medicines.. but could be a hazard to anyone with a nut allergy

How long will the eggs have a nut allergy warning? What medicine do you use to deworm?

Maybe just say Nut allergy warning, I will be deworming my girls, please inform me of any nut allergies. I don't know.
