Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I will treat for 1 week and give it n extra week of warnings just in case...but really I have given myself the same thing the critters get..( don't ask, but when you play in dirt as often as I do, you tend to have things that others do not ).
I rarely give my concoctions on here since homemade medicines can be so unreliable to most people. I do however believe in them.
Basically it is a mixture that I make in the fall with alcohol and walnut hulls...I have in the past seen similar articles on the internet with names like walnut tincture and such.

A quick search pulled this up, there's literally 1000's of pages about it though

And condolences to the person who just lost their roo in the pond. Sad to hear. Hope you find peace with it soon.

Coop in mostly built amd had fun doing it. Hope to upload pictures soon. Look forward to resourcing with more experienced members:D of BYC in Pa.

Very interesting! Learn something new every day. That sounds like an awesome way to deworm instead of the harsh chemicals.

Working on a sign to warn egg customers that I will be worming all critters..not sure what to put on it

This is not done with traditional medicines.. but could be a hazard to anyone with a nut allergy

Wing:

For my two cents, just post a sign that says eggs will not be available until xx/xx/xxxx ......sorry for the inconvenience

@chiques chicks 2/4 SF's are developing, ALL the orpingtons are developing, no EE's developed, and all of the cracked eggs that I dripped wax on are developing great. We're on Day 15. :) In all there are 13 embryos, which is a good rate for shipped eggs. :) Thanks again!
Welcome from Westmoreland! I skipped a few pages, but what part are you in?

I go to every Uniontown swap :)
Right near uniontown. I went to the March swap and didn't find a whole lot at all. Hopefully, when it gets warm they will have a bit more!

I didn't really see anything either. I'm only looking for call ducklings though, which are only there if you're lucky.

It picks up a lot in warmer weather. By May it will be packed!

Sorry to hear that Stake, do you lock your flock up at night? How many do you have now?

My Oddball is doing well after her Hawk attack. She isn't sleeping up on the roost, but she is still laying. Wing, she is actually a decent egg layer. I was surprised!
