Lol I agree. I am a stay at home mom and want to make ME some spending money. I have all the different colors of eggs but missing these beauties. I have falling in love with my chickens and could just spend every day just hanging out with them. Best **** pet I have ever had.

O and can you ship them. I wasn't sure?

I have fertile Black Copper Marans, and White/cuckoo Marans if you're interested, PM me.

:love
I have both Black Copper Marans and Welsummers hatching every weekend, but it's about a 6 hour drive from Erie. If you ever have reason to go to Philly for other reasons, I can hook you up. Might be able to ship eggs at some point. RayInPA also has Marans and Barnvelder eggs to sale. He's in Robesonia, still a long ways from you, I'm not sure if he ships or not. Auroradream is a little closer, but I'm not sure if she has any BCM's to sell now. We need a "chicken express" to move stock across the state.
"chicken express" will be making a trip (Beaver County - Lehigh County) on Memorial Day weekend. @dheltzel , do you now of any Buff Orps in your area? I think I'd prefer a BO over another cochin... I'm weary of the feathered feet with the mud that we get here in our soggy yard. First peek into the bunny nest... we've been able to see movement in there for a couple days, but this was the first I've gotten a look at the babies. Pretty sure they were born Saturday night/Sunday so they are almost a week old. They were kicking around a lot as soon as I uncovered them. I counted at least 5, probably 6.
:love That's a whole lotta cuteness!

Quick question... will I be able to tell a Buff Orpinton's eggs from a RIR or Black australorp? I can't tell the RIR from the BA and if I have a BO in there, I want to be sure I don't save any accidental BA over BO eggs.

I will have Nigerian Dwarf kids weaned and ready in August, but you are 4 1/2 hrs from me. I sell them $300 doelings, $250 bucklings and $150 wethers. Here are 2 of my bred girls:

Love the chicken photo bomb in the bottom left corner. Those girls are so nosy!

I have orpingtons, but not buff. Most are hatching a mottled blue/ yellow. Almost like a blue partridge. Some are more standard partridge, black and yellow. I have a project going that started with BBS and a lemon cuckoo rooster, hence the "blue partridge". I I'm in northwest Lancaster county about twenty minutes from Lancaster out Harrisburg. I have a few hatched late February, so they will be easy to tell hens. More may be hatching in the next few eeks, probably be partridge from my project pen.
