The map "owner" is the only one who can edit. Is she still active or should we start a new one?

I think we should start a new one. I'd love a map that we can all edit to keep it current. I don't know the first thing about how to set one up though.

I have some extra roosters too is anyone wants them. 1 black ameraucana, 1 Welsummer, a few marans (black copper and blue copper).

I also still have Wynter, the wheaten Marans that suffered the hole in his crop and frostbite. He's all healed up now but is very small (same size as my 12 week olds). He walks like he's on stilts since he lost some toes and I think his ankles are fused. I'd love to find him a pet home to live out his life. I wouldn't feel right eating him after everything he's gone through to survive. If anyone's interested, let me know. He's about 5 months old.

Do hawks fly at night ?
I just had something really huge fly over my head, to large to be our regular cooper hawk that visits.
Whatever it was took off from on top the barn and over the house out towards the open field..
Huge, impressive wing span.
Silent, no wing flapping just a glide..
Probably should have scared the crap out of me but I was in awe of the size of whatever it was.

no one is near me!

yeah..i know how ya feel..i think the closest to me is a half an hour..i think...but i am lucky enough to have a neighbor that i got along with very well. She has goats/horses/chickens/ducks..she totally understands the whole "animal-dilemma"..hahahha

This awesome bread is from that wonderful neighbor who has all the animals. Her church gets extra bread form "Panera" (sp?), they had left over so she wanted to, "help me feel better" and "share the love"..hahaha
This is obviously too much for me to eat alone, so I wrapped most up all but that little bun with the oats, froze the rest for later enjoyment.

...hahhaa

This particular loaf was enormous!!
She also gave me a huge pot of cilantro & a basil plant.

There truly are some good people here.

Here's the link to that natural enclosure for rabbits that I mentioned earlier... I think it's pretty brilliant. I may start scanning craigslist for a cheap truck cap.
