Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

This is also why we used to unplug tv's & computers during storms. A lightning strike could cause a power surge & fry them. My aunt had lightning hit theur tv antenna when I was a kid & it fried all 3 of their tv's. Surge protecters help prevent this these days, plus the fact that most people have cable. Satellite dishes can conduct the same way if hit too though.

Always unplug Tvs and computers if you are home. Surge protectors don't always work. My husband owns a computer repair business and we have clients often who lose their data and computers in storms.

Hello from Washington Co

Welcome to the Pennsylvania thread! What kind of chickens do you have?

My Marans chick looks like it will make it. It is acting completely normal, and was even joining her sisters. They like to perch in a branches in a bush that are over a foot above the ground. Mama hen just stands below with them.

Both of my broody hens are laying again! I'm surprised to see the one laying, because she is still taking care of her chicks. I know she laid because I had them separated. :thumbsup

Welcome from Cambria county! And to all the other new peeps that I missed lol.

Haven't been on much lately. Life's been crazy this week lol. Baby bird flew of into the trees again tonight. She's been eating in hey own in the cage she was in. She's definitely staying close and still answers me if I call her but tonight she chose to spend the night in the trees. I'm hoping it doesn't rain tonight and that she does ok.
